He's truly falling for the gorgeous girl he's guarding. Now he just has to keep her safe long enough for them to have a happily ever after.

A Pleasant Surprise

This was such a spunky and relatable story with a couple surprises thrown in there for long time Terry Bolryder fans ;) Oddly enough it was Limes I related to most because I am so much like him in cutting himself off from the pain in his life by being grouchy. Finding the right person is the best way to soften that rough side though and this book shows that in spades. It was fun to read and now I'm really looking forward to Cages story! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Limes isn't so sour

Terry did it again with this series!!!!
Jamie needed a bodyguard and Bronson and Cage scared the crap out of her, that left Limes the IT guy , Limes did not work with people but Jamie changed his mind and heart, fighting off a whole pack of wolves before he could claim her was just the perfect ending. Limes did not think he could love but Jamie proved him wrong in the best ways

Sometimes your heart just soars

I am in love with Limes and Jamie....this story touched me. I could not put it down. Jamie is so timid and scared but she opens her heart. Limes has spent his life holding back. From the time he met Jamie, his walls start to crumble. This story is sexy, hot, yummy, touching, loving and over all amazing. The moment I finished the book I wanted to start all over again. A woman who is scared turns into her on s-hero. I would recommend all of Terry's books but if you start this one, you will not want to put it down!!!

About the Author
Michael A. Seeds has been Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Franklin and Marshall (F&M) College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, since 1970. In 1989, he received F&M College's Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. Seeds' love for the history of astronomy led him to create upper-level courses on Archaeoastronomy and Changing Concepts of the Universe. His research interests focus on variable stars and the automation of astronomical telescopes. Mike is coauthor with Dana Backman and Michele Montgomery of HORIZONS HYBRID: EXPLORING THE UNIVERSE, Thirteenth Edition, and UNIVERSE HYBRID: SOLAR SYSTEM, STARS AND GALAXIES, Eighth Edition, both published by Cengage Learning. He was Senior Consultant in the creation of the twenty-six-episode telecourse accompanying the book HORIZONS: EXPLORING THE UNIVERSE, Twelfth Edition.

Dana Backman works for the SETI Institute of Mountain View, California, as director of outreach for the SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy) mission at NASA's Ames Research Center. He also teaches introductory astronomy, astrobiology, and cosmology courses in Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program. From 1991 to 2003, he taught in the physics and astronomy department at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he invented and taught a Life in the Universe course in the interdisciplinary Foundations program. Dr. Backman's research interests focus on infrared observations of planet formation, models of debris disks around nearby stars, and evolution of the solar system's Kuiper Belt. With Mike Seeds, he also coauthored HORIZONS: EXPLORING THE UNIVERSE, Twelfth Edition (2012); UNIVERSE: SOLAR SYSTEMS, STARS, AND GALAXIES, Seventh Edition (2012); and FOUNDATIONS OF ASTRONOMY (2013), all published by Cengage Learning. Dr. Backman earned his bachelor's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his doctorate from the University of Hawai'i.

Bannon's Brides is a great adventure from start to finish! Cord Bannon is a true man of honor who will risk his life and heart to escort a passel of potential brides clear across the continent to the mining town of Glory. Sweet but feisty Fiona Quinn is a "reserve" bride who hopes that true love waits for her at the end of the arduous journey. Filled with memorable characters (Ma Smalley and Isaiah are favorites), Bannon's Brides sparkles with countrified wit and harrowing adventures. Though Ms. Rogers writes on the sweeter side of romance, the love scenes were steamy due to the undeniable attraction between Cord and Fiona. You'll find yourself reading at a furious pace to see how Fiona gets out of another tangle, or what secrets the other brides may be hiding. Bannon's Bride

After reading this book, I was amazed that Loretta Rogers was not on bookshelves in bookstores. Not only was the book a true western, but contained just the perfect amount of romance to create the perfect rough and tough cowboy. The book not only grabbed my interest from the beginning, but held me throughout. I found every character to be perfect in their part. I have passed the book on, and recommend it, and her other books to everyone I know. I have read several, and find each one to contain superb authorship. Whoever said a woman couldn't write a good western does not know Loretta C. Rogers!

Spell Bounding!

This was the first download for my new Kindle. I can see now where I made a very wise purchase. This story was superbly written with great characters and gripping suspense. Ms. Rogers obviously did her homework on this story, as the descriptions and situations were so life-like and authentic, it was hard to stay in the current century while reading it. I fell in love with Fiona from the get-go. This ranks up there with my favorite reads. Looking forward to reading more from this author! I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Shakespeare Meets the RomCom

This story is the closest you can get to a mad cross between a Shakespearean comedy and a romcom.

Not to say it isn't entertaining, but it's the sort of entertaining that makes you want to pull your hair out and slap all of the characters silly for being such idiots.

Jessie Bain is the heroine - a beautiful, orphaned, mistreated girl. Hubert Varrick is the passionate, conflicted hero, engaged to the haughty, flirtatious Gerelda. The nonsense begins with Gerelda driving the already-disturbed Captain Frazier into a madness of love on the night before her wedding, causing him to kidnap her at the altar with such mystery that Hubert believes himself to be jilted. Jessie Bain comes into his household and protection after being threatened by her uncle, and Hubert soon falls in love with her.

Meanwhile, Gerelda is being held captive by the Captain, who firmly believes that in time Gerelda will come to love him. He poisons her hope that Hubert will come find her with news of Jessie living in Hubert's home. Somehow she escapes and disguises herself as a seamstress to work in the Varrick's house, to observe Jessie and Hubert. She discerns Mrs. Varrick's disgust with Jessie's low status and Hubert's attention, so while Hubert is away she accuses the girl of stealing a diamond bracelet and tricks her into signing a document that admits she committed the crime before sending her away with a promise to never speak to Hubert again.

When Hubert returns, he falls into a rage and leaves his mother's house, determined to find Jessie. We follow Jessie through a series of sad events, where she becomes an actress innocent of the wiles and bad reputations of the actresses of the time, until she is driven off and finds work as a companion to an elderly woman who knew her uncle. In the house of the old woman is the selfish and beautiful Rosamond, who is jealous of Jessie's beauty and harshly assigns her as much work as she can. She sends Jessie out into a snowstorm to get ribbon, and to her shock Jessie never returns.

The ending is infuriating and wonderful and exciting, but it is happy. A fun read on a rainy day.

A huge twisting tale!

READY~SET~GO! This is a very much too~fantastic~to~be~true~tale. It has so many twists upon twists, one right after the other, & yet still amazing, happening to the same 2 or 3 characters. There are a slew of incidents; kidnapping, forgery, accidents, fainting, people lost or missing, driven away, amnesia, & a lot of foolishment along with these things. Still, I promise you will never be bored reading this WHOPPER OF A TALE! I declare I was not sure whether to be sympathetic to Gerelda, to Jessie, or to Hubert at times. But, as they say, "Love Finds Its' Own Way". It is worth reading but, just be prepared for your head to spin, & don't dare skip a page or you may lose somebody, that quick! Have fun on this one!

Over the top.

Even with the suspension of disbelief that is required, this book was very unbelievable and over the top. The lead characters were unbelievable, with an over the top blend of noble martyr and long suffering victim. (SPOILER) - Really - she goes from being orphaned to living with her uncle in an abusive home, to falling in love with the hero, being mistreated by his mother, of course, he's in love with her, but she leaves - swearing to never tell him why, so even after he finds her in - yes, you guessed it - yet another abusive situation where she was being noble and long suffering, she still refuses to tell him why she left.... Oh, and we can't forget about his kidnapped fiance that he no longer loves (being in love with the Jessie, of course), who is then rescued, reunited with the hero, they get married (though he is now in a depression, because heroine has run away from the home he shared with his mom), and on their honeymoon they experience a shipwreck, where she is believed to be killed. Of course, she isn't, she's injured and out of her mind, and cared for, you guessed it - by Jessie, who is now living back with her uncle.... And, this is just SOME of the obstacles they encounter...

I love books of all types, ranging from serious non fiction to fantasy, science fiction, romance, comedy, the classics, you name it. However, the suspension of disbelief to "get into" this book was just too much. I hate to say it, but by the end, I was actually rooting AGAINST the hero and heroine, because I was so fed up with them both.

R. Krishnan (PhD, Virginia Tech) is Research Professor of Marketing at the University of Miami. He has previously taught at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Baruch College, CUNY, New York, and Virginia Tech. Dr. Krishnan's research has appeared in a number of scholarly and professional journals, including the "Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Sloan Management Review, " and "Journal of Interactive Marketing." He has also received many distinguished teaching awards, including the University of Miami-EMBA Excellence in Teaching Award, College of Business Teaching Award, and Alumni Award for Best Teaching. A specialist in business strategy marketing for technology-based companies, e-commerce, new product and brand strategies, and pricing strategies, he also conducts marketing education programs for companies around the globe.

It's a great book on the subject. Design steps are systematically described. Could be better, If test conducted on these motors are also included in the book.
